Fremont rec center12/15/2023 ![]() Paid or volunteer experience in a camp or recreational setting for school age children.Knowledge of recreational principles and practices.Must be able to work in changing indoor and outdoor climates.Must be able to establish and maintain positive and productive relations with others.Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.Must have good organizational skills and reliably complete tasks in a timely manner. ![]() Must be able to effectively lead groups and provide an enjoyable experience for young campers.Must have special skills in art, sports, science, theater, music and dance.Must be at least 15 years of age, 16 preferred.General supervision is provided by the Camp Director and/or Program Specialist and the Recreation Supervisor MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Assist Camp Director and/or Program Specialist in program development, scheduling special events and activities.Attend staff meetings and training sessions.Supervise program participants indoors and outdoors.Assist in setting up and taking down of equipment.Plan, implement and lead age appropriate activities for children which may include: arts and crafts, dance, drama, games, sports, songleading, storytelling, field trips and special events.Supervise program participants in indoors and outdoors settingsĮXAMPLES OF DUTIES (This is a general description of duties and is not all-inclusive) ![]() *Rules and regulations subject to change! There may be a possibility that this event will HAVE to be outdoors.Plan, lead, and implement recreational activities for children 4-17 (primarily 5-12) years of age in recreational programs. *Safety: No flammable or harmful items may be displayed. *Indemnification: Exhibitor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the event and its location from and against any loss, expense, claims, damages, causes of action, injuries, suits or damages, suits to person or property, including attorney’s fees, arising out of or related to the operation of the Exhibitors at the event. Vendor must notify the event coordinator immediately of cancellation! No refunds will be granted. *Cancellation of space: We are not liable if weather or other conditions prevent the Exhibitor from attending and fulfilling the contractual obligation as an Exhibitor. *Tables & Chairs: Each Exhibitor may furnish his or her own chairs, tables, stands, tent or canopy. Extension cords are not included and must be provided by the Exhibitor. *Electricity: Electricity will be available as a first-come, first-served basis as electricity is not available in all areas. Remember, this is first come first serve. *Payment: The full payment is due within 14 days of the event. *Acceptance: This event reserves the right to decline any application for space if it deems such action to be in the best interest of the event. *One Business per table: Only one (1) business per booth space may not be sublet or shared without prior approval of an authorized staff of the event. Vendors must ensure that none of their display equipment extends beyond the space they have booked this includes any rails, stands or additional equipment. Spaces are reserved on a first-come first-served basis. If you have special space needs, please include your request with your application and we will make every effort to accommodate you. Placement, flow and competition will be taken into consideration to provide the best experience for fair attendees. *Exhibitor Spaces: Exhibitor spaces will be assigned. Each exhibitor is responsible for the conduct of his employees and/or representatives and activities must not detract from the image or welfare of the fair. This event expressly disclaims any responsibility for same. *Exhibitor Responsibility: Exhibitor will be fully responsible for any loss or damage to his or her property by theft or casualty. This event is not responsible for merchandise or display materials. *Staffing: Exhibitor tables/ booths must be manned at all times and intact until the show closes at 3 p.m. *Before leaving, be sure your area is clean and trash-free. Sellers are responsible for their selling spaces. No vendor is to close before the official closing time. ![]() Break down can start no sooner than 3:00 p.m. Exhibitors may begin setting up on the day of the event at 8:00am. *Setup/ Breakdown: All Exhibitors must be set up and ready to sell by 10:00a.m. We would like to thank you for your interest in being a vendor at our upcoming event held at the Recreational Center in Fremont!
